If you are Covid positive, you may benefit from oral anti-Covid medications if you are part of the at risk group. The oral anti-Covid medications are available via script from your local pharmacy.

Q) Which vaccines are we administering ?

Q) Which groups are eligible for Pfizer and Moderna vaccine currently ?

  • Age 12 and over.

Q) What about the paediatric ( age 5-11 ) program ?

  • A specially formulated Pfizer paediatric vaccine has been approved

  • Second dose is given 8 weeks after first dose

Q) Who will be giving me my injection?

  • Whichever our GPs or nurses who is responsible for the time slot that you are booked into, even if your regular GP is around at the time. The clinic needs to flow quickly and smoothly.

Q) Do we need to consent to the Covid vaccine?

  • Yes . Our online booking app will send you the consent form when you are booking online.

  • If you did not book online, please read covid vaccination consent form , before arriving for your appointment . A verbal consent is adequate , you do not need to sign the consent form.

Q) What about the 2nd dose ?

  • You should always book the second dose.

  • Gap between doses : Pfizer and Novavax ( 3-8 weeks) , Moderna ( 4-8 weeks ) , Pfizer paediatric ( 3 - 8 weeks )

Q) What about booster doses ( 3rd , 4th or 5th doses)?

  • Currently recommended at 6 months after your last Covid vaccine or covid infection.

  • Pfizer bivalent vaccine, Moderna bivalent vaccine or Novavax vaccine can be given irrespective of your previous doses.
